This guide is ment for any artist that wants to upload their songs to Last.fm, an audioscrobbler that keeps track of songs played by users on their computers. Users can edit information about artists and songs with information and tags. Once your tracks get tagged and listened to they are automaticaly suggested to other users with similar tastes.

Step 1. -Locating your profile/creating profile-
Maybe a last.fm user already played your songs and created a profile for you so try to find yourself on the site. If you do find your own page you can click the 'upload their music here' button.

If you can't find your own profile you can start from this page where you should chose artist unless you have multiple artists to manage.

Step 2. - filling out the forms-
Fill out the form you see below and click 'continue'

Fill out the next form too and continue to the agreement. Click the 'agree' button and proceed to the upload area.

Step 3. -Uploading music -

Here you can browse you're songs and upload them. You have the option to upload more than one song at once, however I do not recommend this unles you have all the proper ID tags in the mp3's.
-note- The files must be in mp3 format with 128 kbps/stereo encoding or it won't work -
If your not sure whether your songs are in the right format try to upload one of your songs and see if it works. When an error occurs you can send me a message on SAB and we'll work it out.

Step 4. - editing song information -
After the uploading is complete you proceed to the next page

In case there are no ID3v1/2 tags set you will be asked to submit the correct labeling for the songs. Also options for offering full track, free download and radio play will be offered. Only selecting radio play results in snippets of 30 seconds being offered on your page.
You can also change the album name and cover on this page.
After saving the settings it will take approximately one hour for last.fm to process the submission.

It's time for dinner now, be back in an hour.

Step 5. - Shop information -
Alright we're done, you can check your uploaded songs here
In the 'Manage' tab you can edit your album, songs and shop. I made an example of how to set SellaBand as your shop for the album in production.

Under the 'Manage' tab you can also upload more songs.

That should be it, if you have any questions or problems I'll be glad to help out.
Kind regards, Kegher
